I print the same models dozens of times per month and they are multi-color, in alternating layer stacks, e.g. black for 20 layers, white for 40 layers, black for 50 layers, etc. and some of these have overhangs that need supports, but I noticed that in the past few months, all of my prints have been leaving dozens and hundreds of purges instead of the few it takes to switch between colors as it had for years. Come to find out that Bambu Studio is ‘stuck’ on using the first color filament for support, despite being set to “Default”. I’ve tried toggling between filaments, a/b testing with different support settings, and verifying the colors don’t actually exist in the layers it’s doing color changes on , and I can’t figure it out.
Here’s a screenshot to see what I mean: here you can see the red layers have green supports for some reason I can’t figure out.
Like I said, this wasn’t an issue until recently, I literally have old supports in a tub that are multi-color, but now they’re all single-color.
