of course i’d love to see more settings to tweak in the slicer, but how about a small “ease of life” option?
in all the other 3d software i use, “right click + hold” is rotate view, but in bambu studio, it’s “left click + hold.”
not a deal breaker, obviously, but it’d be great to have the option to customize camera controls for a seamless feel when switching from modeling software to slicing per user preference.
Although in principle I agree with you in actuality this is one of those issues of no industry standards exist for mouse use across many apps.
SolidWorks CAD and AutoDesk Fusion 360 are arguably the two most used design programs worldwide (millions of users) and they use different mouse commands for camera view.
Which would you suggest BL use in Studio?
The same is true for dozens of apps used in our 3D world, so although I personally like the method you suggest, it’s a non starter for a suggestion since there is no standard to follow.
With no malice - Welcome to 3D!
And with real feeling, Welcome to the Forum!
Now this is certainly doable, and is implemented in the CAD programs above.
Also a ‘possible to do’ change even if they don’t change rotate / zoom assignments.
