Bambu Studio SW engineers: Please do not move fast and break things

N.B. I like Bambu Studio. It’s a decent app and features like multi-color painting are absurdly fun. I say the following, therefore, with love:

Please slow down! It feels like every single time I have launched Bambu Studio over the last 2 weeks there has been an update. Then the update has an update. Then the update to the update has another update. Every update has been (I read the release notes) because a previous version just broke something and you’re reverting / disabling / something something the feature.

“Move fast and break things” has been adopted by Twitter^H^H^H^H^HX and we all know how well that’s been doing. Please, slow down a bit. Do the quality control. Don’t release without fully testing. Your recent “cloud prints at night” debacle was another symptom of the same root cause: Insufficient testing and too much rushing things out the door. Please slow down before you break something really big.

Many companies jump on the cloud bandwagon because it’s advantageous for them, not because it adds a lot of value for their users.

You may be “that guy” but you’re also entirely correct - Zuck coined the original term. Twitter is currently using it and I simply picked on twitX because, hey, it served my analogy better. :slight_smile: But yeah, “originally coined” was just incorrect and I have corrected the post.
