It brings a list of new features which are meant to further improve the experience.

Since the last update user settings are gone after installation. At first startup I have to choose region, choose printer, choose filaments, login, make my setting etc. Is this the new supposed behaviour?
If you are operating in LAN-only mode you need to have good backups before installing this BETA.
The release version of Bambu Studio, and the beta version use different configuration folders.
In %appdata% you can find two different folders:
BambuStudio
BambuStudioBeta
This might be the reason why the user settings are missing - this beta is using the Beta configuration.
It should be possible to simply copy the files from BambuStudio to BambuStudioBeta to get all the configuration settings from before (while Studio is closed).
I see that now.
Possible, but has not been necessary with past public or beta releases.
Why wipe out the public release Studio installation and leave the configuration behind?
My configuration files came back after login, having the sync feature turned on.
But after update Studio behaves like a first install as I already mentioned. This was also with 02.05.00.66 which is no beta!
its been over a month. Any updates?
There is some awful issue in this beta build on my PC. When rotating a model it can semi lock my system into a power point slideshow. Even exiting the app solves nothing. Restarting explorer solves nothing. It take roughly 3 minutes just to get the start bar up and click restart. Craziest thing I ever experienced.
This is the build I have been waiting for! Past few Bambu Studios were making my Windows 11 Ryzen 7 Rig Lag HARD when it never had before!!! This one cleaned it up and dang its fast. Was most noticeable when trying to paint objects. THANK YOU to the programmer who nailed that one and thank you to everyone else that helped improve this version and others!
