I’ve recently started having issues getting video to initialize on my P1S. It has been working since I got the printer months ago, and nothing has changed in my network.
I hard rebooted the printer, and that got video to work for the print, and then when I tried to connect during the next print it got stuck initializing video again.
This happens to me sometimes when my computer goes on sleep. I just stop the video and restart and it works fine.
I can copy that. Since about two weeks I’m also having this problem. Camera view is very often not accessible in Bambu Studio, with no error message at all. It just seems to be stuck on “Initializing…”. While at other times it is working just fine. Today it was problematic again, but all of a sudden it worked after 3 hours continuously trying to activate it. On Bambu Handy it’s always working fine.
These intermittant problems definitely started only with the combination of Bambu Studio v2.1.1.52 and printer firmware 01.08.02.00.
Exactly at the same time Bambu Handy started to sometimes get no connection to the printer, until it get’s restarted on the mobile. But that’s MUCH more seldom than the camera issue in Bambu Studio, and is also easily to be fixed by a quick restart of the app. But with Bambu Studio, there does not seem to be a fix. It’s just behaving like a stubborn goat - sometimes will do, sometimes not in the mood.
