Bambu studio won t create tree supports

Hi! By selecting tree as support choice bambu studio keeps slicing it as normal. Can someone help me i´m new to it  . Thank you

In the picture as support setting is tree(auto) selected

Welcome to the forum!

Can you scroll to the top of the support tab and post a screen shot showing that?

If you un-check “enable supports” then slice it, the check “enable supports” again and slice it does it still generate the non-tree supports?

The problem here is also by unchecking it and slicing it keep generating supports

Put “raft layers” to 0 and see what happens.

I did but unfortunately nothing changed

If you change to a different print profile does it do it, or just on that one?

No matter i do nothing changes i deleted the project and reopened it but i get the same problem, then i tried to open another model and the slice it and it worked. Is it possible the user who uploaded the model decide to lock such setting?

Can you post a link to the model or the 3mf?

The Global settings are being overridden by the Object settings established by the model creator. They manually painted the areas of Top.stl to be supported and chose Normal(manual)/default supports.

I d like base.stl to use tree setting but keep using normal support in bambu studio.

Now i figured out how change object setting and now works. Thank you guys

Set Process to Objects, select Base.stl, Support tab, Type tree(manual).
Manual instead of auto to keep the creators choice to limit support locations, but slice it both ways to see which you prefer.

This was my problem. Should have had my morning coffee before slicing lol.
