Warum nicht gleich 1% Schritte, wie bei Ultimaker. Das selbe gilt für den Flow. Da hätte ich auch gerne was zum spielen. Andere Firmen können das ja auch.
Interesting proposal.
Introducing a global speed multiplier would be nice.
But it should still be limited to max flow.
Introducing a multiplier for flow is not so effective, as you can change the flow in the filament settings. Normally they are set to the max already.
If you want to use the higher flow regularly, you could save it in a custom filament.
Manual flow adjustment definitely makes sense to me for the first layer, since Bambu Lab removed the flow control for the first layer in the slicer. For my prints, I use a wood grain modifier on the first layer, and this was very helpful for closing tiny gaps with slight over-extrusion—gaps that even Arcane mode couldn’t handle. I almost always print with a .6 hotend.
I don’t feel like creating sub-filaments as well. My library already contains about 80 filaments.
Best regards
For me in version 2.8.2.61, it is still there under quality → advanced:
Anyway, if you want best quality, I don’t see a way around tuning flow ratio to the point. It is a 20 min print and shouldn’t mean any extra filament presets. Just adjust it in your existing presets and whenever you switch to a new spool for a color+material, adjust the flow in the existing profile.
That is still there I believe:
If you are talking about Max Flow Rate, I would normally only use that only for high speed prototyping or high strengt profiles with a more conservative flow rate.
IMHO that still qualifies for an adjusted profile.
A multiplier in the general profile could make it more accessible, but at least the capability is already there, but less accessible.
I see you beat me to it ![]()
Unfortunately, this isn’t the case in the current Linux version—it doesn’t even pass the PA values to my P1S anymore. I can’t select the filaments in Device Manager either, since scrolling doesn’t work. BS on Linux is an absolute disaster. Unfortunately, Orca Flatpak isn’t launching right now either.
Oh, that’s interesting, looks like a bug in the Linux release then.
Yes, I’ve been reporting these bugs for months. Bambu Lab doesn’t care. But I can’t do anything about it, since I’ve also been having problems with my second H2C for the past 6 months. The first one was replaced after 5 months, and the second one arrived defective. The left buffer isn’t working, even though it was replaced. I think the cable or the board is defective.
