Hiho,

I have an instance of bambuddy runnig for a few weeks now  Its really nice to see the progress you make

But I have an issue updateing it :frowning: do you have an preferred way of contacting? (since it isn’t an issue with the code I don’t think that the github issue-tracker is the right place  )

Github or Discord (Bambuddy)

Your Bambu Lab, your rules.

The complete open-source management suite for every Bambu Lab printer you own — without Bambu Cloud. No account. No subscription. No telemetry.

BAMBUDDY — THE PLATFORM

Remote access, without Bambu Cloud. Monitor and control your printers from anywhere — through your own instance. Optional auth: local, LDAP, 2FA, SSO.

Filament, done right. Sync profiles from Bambu Cloud, build your own, track consumption with full Spoolman support, monitor AMS humidity, and run drying cycles without touching the printer.

Never lose a print. Automatic 3MF archiving saves every job — reprint in one click. Group related prints into Projects to track multi-part builds.

Know what’s happening. HMS error tracking with Discord, Telegram, ntfy, and email notifications. Energy tracking + smart plugs show the true cost of every print. Maintenance reminders keep your hardware healthy.

Slice anywhere, print anywhere. Virtual Printers accept jobs from Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer — each with its own dedicated IP, mode, and model. External cameras supported.

Built to integrate. Bulk actions, automation, scheduling, API & webhooks, PWA mobile access, scheduled backups (local or GitHub).

SPOOLBUDDY — THE SPOOL SYSTEM THAT FINISHES THE JOB

A complete spool management companion. Read and write NFC / RFID tags — including non-Bambu Lab spools — and auto-configure your AMS slots straight from the tag. No more manual entry. No more mystery filament.

Free. Open source. Self-hosted on a Pi, a NAS, or any Docker host.

Your hardware. Your data. Your rules.

Might have to test it in my proxmox server. I’ll fire up a docker LXC and test it next week and will give some feedback.

Genuine question, Is it only for Bambu printers or will there be any other compatible brands in the future? Asking because i use several printers (Flashforge, Klipper based printers, Snapmaker, etc)

Nope, only Bambu Lab. Sorry.

It’s ok, it was only a question. Maybe i’ll check if i can add my own support if needed.

I’ll provide some feedback as soon as i boot it up. Thanks once again
