Bambulab 1.9.3.50 crashes on Mac OS

On my M1 MBP Bambu studio crashes all the time randomly. Sometime it also freezes when changing filament color. Any solution since this is very annoying.

Same. Most commonly it crashes as it’s done sending the print job to cloud. I may have to run a windows VM and see if it continues

I am having exactly the same problem, running Sonoma. Studio is almost unusable, clearly a pain to use. Think I will look at another slicer

This is for info only, in case it helps determine any relevant factors.

It works fine on my macOS Ventura running on a fully spec’ed Mac Mini 2018 Intel.

MacBook Pro M1 Pro, after sending to print - the auto switch tap to device will crash the app most of the time.

This never occur with OrcaSlicer, got to be a bug with BambuStudio.

Hello,

I keep getting crashes after sending print jobs as well.

Best we can do is to send a crash report to the software developers on Github. The more they receive, the more likely they will fix it.

It’s really annoying + I’m not able to give Creators reviews/stars that they deserve.

Submitting a Crash Report on MacOS

  • open the Console app
  • pick Crash Reports on left column
  • select the Bambu Studio entry that corresponds to your latest crash time
  • Copy the entire text from the field below
  • paste it in TextEdit
  • Save text on Desktop
  • In Finder use right click to Compress the file
  • Go to https://github.com/bambulab/BambuStudio/issues/3794
  • You probably need to create an account
  • Reply, explain the crash and attach your compressed file
