Bambulab clone website scam

I just watched a video by Maker’s Muse showing that on Facebook (Meta) they are redirecting some “Bambu” links to a fake website with 3D printers 75% off.
Here is the linkto the Youtube video:

Yeah, they keep getting shut down and popping back up…

Remember, this is how facebook makes it’s money - accepting cash from anyone with a pulse to fill that 30% of the feed. It won’t get better, they have every incentive to keep taking the money and no punishment for bad behavior.

Problem is our social media giants and how our government look the other way.
Meta lost a long list of court cases since they started and the cases were all about privacy, user data and abuse - like abusing FB to scam people.
Their policies seem fine at a first glance but once you check how they are enforced it is just a bad joke.

YOU can be banned quick and easy after making a bad joke in a public post somewhere.
YOU can be pulled in front of a court if your actions are deemed to be of criminal intent.
But those professional scammers NEVER even get hunted by Meta or any other social media platform.
FB and Co work on a BIG profit base.
Means someone or something with a profile NOT attracting many people will be trashed quickly as there is no revenue lost involved.
That is why scammers make their offers so tempting - it provides enough clicks for FB to make money, with that that scam site/post stays active for a very long time.
A single complaint is enough to restrict a normal (verified) user account.
A hand full of complaints is enough to turn you invisible to the public and you won’t be able to re-gain your old status.
A serious offence or complaint and your account gets fully blocked, then shut down.
Most good scam sites on FB stay active for weeks, some for many months, despite ongoing complaints.

Of course there have been court cases for this already.
But so far our social media giants keep getting away totally unharmed.
A human verification was enforced.
Means once you rejected a FB bot decisions a couple of times you will get the offer to escalate the matter with their watchdog service.
Worked really well during the first few months of implementation, these days though you ALWAYS get to hear their resources are too limited and therefore the decision will not be changed.
And in case you wonder> So far every single against our social media giants for compensation after being scammed failed to even make it into court.
Dragged out until the persons ran out of money and gave up.

Yeah, you can sit there and try to rationalize reasons why this time it’ll be different [like a domestic abuse victim], or you can just delete social media from YOUR life, and be free of that awful influence in YOUR life.

I really mean it. I believe in you. You can do it. Aren’t your dopamine receptors tired of all the rage bait and FOMO scams, the things modern algorithms force into your feed to increase site retention and engagement? Cut it and run
