Speed! The Bambu PETG doesn’t like high speeds. I did some tests and reduced all speeds in the process settings to 120 mm/s. At default speeds, it prints very matte, which is a hint for reduced strength. You will notice that it prints much more glossy at lower speeds.
@froop typical PA(K) factor calibration possibly a bit flow problem for PETG . assuming the speed external perimeter is bellow 120mm/S problem for PETG and assuming the filament is dry . aslo a bit higher temp probably
Calibrate the flow and PA(K) and make sure that slightly reduce it of measured
PA(K) a bit under than measured - my one is around 0.5 and i use 0.42-0.45
and flow as well my flow measured is 0.99 - 1.0 and i use 0.96
These are at boosted temp 255C/260C
Also you can look some more in detailed discussions here or many other forums:
Is this correct or should it be “… 0.05 and i use 0.042-0.045”? Or maybe I’m entering it into the wrong spot. The default value on that screen was 0.020.
@Slobber_Monkey I am using orca slicer ,in general do not use Bambu slicer . And i do not use the Dark mode
But when using Bambu slicer for trials or anything to check , i add the flow in the custom G code for the filament
M900 K[pressure_advance] L1000 M10; BS transfer test based on Orca slicer output. – but this will work only if already set by Orca slicer , the one for manual entry is with K factor of 0.045 you change it to what ever you need
