Bambulab studio slicer suggestions

Hi,

I have my printer for 2 months now and i was wondering if someone could help me improve my slicer settings in bambulab for my part. Just to new to this and want to learn from the community.

I am making my own storage box if you will and i was wondering how i could optimise the speed for my print. I takes over 4 hours to print it now but are there settings that would improve the printing time without to many quality degradings.

Well, it is a simple part with no overhangs but it is also what I would call large taking up nearly the entire bed, that simply takes time.

You could change the preset from 0.20mm layer to 0.28mm layer and that would save about 15% or so:

But you might be able to see the layer lines more easily.

Raising speeds would certainly make it faster but at what cost? It might not come out as nice but you are free to try. If you really want to dial it in you would want to fully calibrate the filament for max volumetric flow rate (using orca slicer), if that setting of the filament is currently set too low it will slow everything down, raising it will speed everything up but you would only do that as a result of the filament passing the max flow test to that new level otherwise you could end up with a complete mess.

If you’re using Bambu filament the volumetric flow is likely set near the max, though I have been able to turn it for PETG-HF quite a bit, I think their PLAs are more closely dialed in by default.
