Hello Bambu.
First of all, i LOVE my X1C…thank you so much for this great product.
One of the things i love the most is the skip-object-during-print function you gave us.
I have although found a couple of bugs with it.
I have the latest firmware.
Bug 1: Print head keeps jumping to skipped object for the remainder of the print.
See video: https://youtu.be/UrSA6IxLWfM
Bug2: When skipping an object that has Support-PLA, another object will start printing only support PLA at the level where the skipped objects support PLA was supposed to print, and it will not switch back, it will continue only printing support PLA.
See video: https://youtu.be/3LmXIwfo2dA
Would be nice to have these issues addressed
Thanks again for the great printing experience you have provided me!
Oh…when will we get BambuLab X2C AMS, with 2 separate print heads twice the size print bed and support for TPU from AMS? just asking for a friend.
I’ve been experiencing something similar to the 2nd bug for some time now. When printing for example 2 objects, sliced “by object” (one is colored black, second red), when I skip the first object (black) for some reason, my P1S skips to the second object (supposed to be red) without changing colors first and will fully finish the second object before doing any color changes (if there is a 3rd obj w different color to second it will change properly on the 3rd object). For some reason, change color command at the start of objects will be ignored when skipping to them.
for me it just disregard filament type. It actually changed to support PLA filament even though the object that had support filament was skipped prior. Could be what happens to you, it bugs out which filament to use.
Idk enough g-code syntax to be sure but my guess would be that when an object is skipped, printer doesn’t read the “change to the new filament for this second object” line in the code and starts off w what it had for first obj. or changes to the next filament from the skipped object (your case). I´ve been experiencing this from end of november 2023…
I have the same issue now on the A1MINI latest firmware. If I skip an object, then it continues with the rest of the objects, but uses exclusively the PLA/PETG support filament to print -.-
