Bambustudio update and old model files no longer compatible

Thanks Bambu for the new version of the Bambu studio and your change to the wipe tower which is total ■■■■. thanks to the change a lot of my models can no longer be printed from the phone as the new wipe tower is in the middle of the model as it is no longer on the build plate as it was before.

sure, when you open it with the studio you can partially move the model and then it works again, but there are inexperienced users who don’t know this and so my models could get bad comments from the users who don’t know any better.

furthermore, i now have models that i have to change so that they are no longer compatible with the mini, because you can no longer get the wiper tower on the build plate, but you can’t move it either, otherwise, as we all know, it can lead to discoloration in the model.

this is a great achievement by the developers.

Most of the issues you’ve mention would be alleviated if they developed the Bambu Studio out in the open on github - people would complain about them on PRs or on nightlies. But internally doing whole 2.0 and then "ooops, you have to re-do your profiles, some may even become incompatible with A1 Mini, but that’s the sacriffice we don’t care about and you’ll be the one with 1 :star: reviews :stuck_out_tongue: "

i’m not worried about A1 mini profiles, im only worried about my +10 hours print profiles especially the multi-colored ones, certainly the users will be mad 6 hours in and facing an unknown failure to be blamed with 1 star review and a chunky comment XD
