For some reason I’m getting perimeter banding only on the layer that coinsides with a shelf on prints which continue past said shelf. Can anyone point me in the direction of which settings would cause this? Printing petg-cf (IEMAI) thats been dried. Prints flawless otherwise. Some settings attached but I have tried several different setups. Thanks in advance.
it is determined by the difference in time per layer and diferent temperature layers…printing is faster above the base…you can use a modifier to slow down the printing of the rest of the part…it is a well-known effect like a stripe on a boat in the place of the floor…by adjusting the speed it can be adjusted to imperceptible…or by modifying the model
the whole problem is the shrinkage of the material…the larger the surface area of the layer, the colder it is…
if I made the cylinder above the floor 0.1 mm smaller in my model, the transition would be imperceptible
