Early in a print the A1 ground to a halt and tried to reset position unsuccessfully. Now when I try to home, the nozzle moves fine but the bed doesn’t move at all. When I use the app to make it move, it gives a grinding noise and moves a tiny bit.
Popped the bed off and checked the belt but didn’t see anything. What should I check next?
Can you move the bed by hand?
It will move but very hard to do so. A lot of resistance.
Before people start saying bad steppers & other stuff…
pull off the plastic cover to check if filament has gotten in the tracks of the bed.
Well, it is the stepper motor. It has locked up. I have put in a support ticket as they don’t seem to offer the parts for the A1 on the website.
