Bed rising up to top after print finished

Does anyone have any idea what would cause this? :hushed:
This is the first really tall print I’ve done in a while and lucky I had the top glass off because I was printing PLA. I didn’t see the print finish but it looks like a firmware or g-code issue? I did read that an update had fixed the previous issue where the bed would crash into the bottom before a new print starts, but this is taking things too far😂

Forgot to add, no other shorter prints have moved the bed up after a print finishes. Normally it lowers a few cm.

Thats the first time I have seen that.

I believe I’ve found the problem!

Months ago I added a quick start profile to test and then a while later I had experimented with having the nozzle do a cleaning wipe sequence after printing, which seemed to be working well and I had forgotten about it. Until now.
I had inserted the code to make the bed move down a few cm to give the toolhead space to do it’s cleans. I should have checked with prints of all sizes, as I believe on such a large print this could have triggered the bed to raise up thanks to the new protection programming.
Anyway, no harm done and I’ve deleted the offending code until I can work out how to do it properly.
