Bed size template

I wanted to get a custom bed made so I measured one of my existing ones and made this drawing
has anyone seen an official cad template somewhere?

To clarify, your drawing is a sheet and not a bed?

As soon I get my replacement bed, I will take the bed apart and try to place a custom aluminum plate. But no clue when I get my bed, it’s been 5 weeks now.

yes its the sheet size of the flexplates

Nice!
Would you mind sharing the dxf file?
I’ve ordered some g10 and will mill it on my cnc to measure.

I also want a g10/fr4 bed

No guarantees it’s correct (it’s close to the drawing above), but you can generate a DXF from the STL included with Bambu Studio, which gives you the following:

(I can’t upload a DXF to the forum)

Thanks!

Will check it out.

thats a brilliant idea

Here is a DXF File for the Build plate,. based on the STL of the bed in bambu studio
seems very accurate IMO

fantastic!

will be a good base!

How were you able to do this? Has the feature been removed?

what feature? are you referring too?

Being able to export the plate as a DXF. How did you do that? I would like to do that on the A1 mini.

I believe i found a STL of the bed, in the Bambuslicer install directory via file explorer

Ok great I found the stl of the bed. How did you convert that to DXF?

A quick google brings up lots of online services that do this.

Personally I imported it into Solidworks, then exported the face as a DXF.

That is nice, my old version of Inventor doesn’t do that. I was able to trace it on the orgin plane though so that made it possible. The online converters bring in alot of junk. Thanks everyone for the help!
