I just did firmaware update today 01.07.03.06 and my bed temperaure went KABUM .
I set for ASA 90 C and it went from 70 up to 127 C and stayed at 117. Then I paniced and set it to 80 C and now it is printing and it is 96…
Anyone has termal runaway problem?
Keep monitoring closely since you could have a SSR failure on the AC board for the heater bed
Do you have a temp probe or IR thermometer you can use to confirm the actual temp? This is probably either an issue caused by cable failure or the thermistor in the bed has been knocked out of place.
The sooner you file a support ticket, the better. You may need a replacement bed
There is a chance that it really is at 123C and it’s a different cable failing, but regardless I don’t see a scenario that doesn’t require replacement parts unfortunately.
Also do you happen to have home assistant set up? or any method of logging your temperature data? If not, don’t bother because it won’t fix your problem, but we might be able to diagnose the problem better with a temperature plot.
