X1C request - Not sure if this is possible with their hardware but it would be great if there were an option for the printer to beep when the gcode pauses the printer. I know Handy sends a notification but sometimes those don’t always come through and a audible reminder would be greatly appreciated. All of the Prusa’s I had would continuously beep until the action was met.
Yes, It would be nice if a buzzer sounded or an LED flashed when the printer requires attention.
@Darrenph1 You did not mention which printer you have. The P1P does not have a buzzer or any sound capability built in. I do not know about the X1.
@julie777 For the X1C. I edited the thread, Thanks!
This would be on a print farm wish list.
A buzzer / flasher or both would be a big plus.
I have five X1C machines in a open shop and when one of them pauses for the spaghetti alert, it may wait for a couple hours, before anybody notices.
Throwing my 2 cents in here, ALL Bambu printers should have some option for audible alerting with options to select for when a print finishes, layer/print pauses, out of filament, etc. Should just be common sense, ESPECIALLY since those on LAN Only Mode do not get alerted through their app that doesn’t support LAN Only Mode.
We’re told it’s coming to the X/P series with a firmware update. It’s looking hopeful as the gcode to initiate it is included in the Printer settings of the most recent release of Bambu Studio.
