Beginner Instruction to Slow Printing

I am brand new to Bambu Labs, but not to 3D printers, and would like to slow down the printer by filament type. When I print PETG with the Bambu Profile setting the printer is moving slower/quieter, and the calibration cube that is printed is the best quality I’ve had compared to my Prusa 3S+ or Voron 2.4. When I print the same calibration cube with eSun ABS+ using the generic ABS profile, the print head moves much quicker/louder and the print quality is slightly less than printing with PTEG.
I’d like to slow the print head but don’t know where to begin. Should I just lower all the print speeds by a certain percentage, or is there a better way? Any help would be appreciate.

Welcome to the forum.

If you change the printing speed to “Silent” on the printer it will cut all of the speeds by 50% This would need to be set ever print as it defaults to normal.

For a more permanent solution you will need to adjust the settings in the “Speed” tab of Bambu Studio.

You can reduce the “Max. volumetric speed” in the filament settings to slow down the prints with this filament.

Thank you for your response Jon.

Thank you print.in.3d. I will try that.
