Belt, correct procedure

Hi all,
First of all, sorry for my lack of experience…
I tried to search but I didn’t find a definitive answer on the correct procedure for tensioning the X and Y axis belts of the P1 and X1 series.
Wiki says to move the tool head back and forth and then move it at the end before tightening the rear tensioner screws.
But do I have to keep the tool head under pressure at the end with one hand and tighten the screws with the other? Or once moved at the end do I let it go and then tighten the tensioner screws?
In my case (a P1s) the X axis arrives at the end first from one side and not to the right and left at the same time.
Then there are also those who say that the tool head must be moved back and forth and to the right and left and then brought back to the center before completing the procedure.
Can you give me some advice?

Here is the wiki link for future readers.

There isn’t tensioning screws. The tensioners self tension with springs. Moving the head to each corner helps to the whole system find its equilibrium. The screws then “lock” the tensioners in place.

Let go and tighten the tension screws. It is an auto tensioner. The reason you move the tool head after loosining the tensioner is just to ensure even tension on both sides.

However, i have nearly 1000 hours on my printers and have not needed to do this procedure. Only do it if you see layer shifts on the xy axis

Sorry, I explained myself badly…
I know there are no tension screws.
I meant to say “lock the tensioner screws” to fix them in place.
So in your opinion is it correct to move the tool head to the right and left in addition to forward and backward?

Got it, thanks.
I thought it was correct to keep the tool head pressed at the end, to try to make the right side and the left side of the X-axis rest at the end, at the same time…
