Bend nozzle

i noticed my printer is printing skewed.
this must have happened 10-15 prints ago.

today i saw the nozzle was quite strong bend

I can’t imagine that nothing else has broken.
This seems to happen more often.
Which parts are usually affected most often?

A bent nozzle like that usually happens when you don’t clear the build plate before starting a new print. I’ve done that a few times now when I wasn’t paying attention and bent my nozzles in a similar way. If you are concerned about if anything else is broken, you can just throw a new nozzle in there and look for any issues with the print. You can also inspect the mechanisms that hold the nozzle in place, looking for any other bending or cracking. I doubt you’ll find any other issues though.

i changed the nozzle.
its astounding how hard it is (if not impossible) to bend it back.

seems to work for now

When a nozzle gets bent, it is recommended to replace it with a new one to avoid a failure.

While it might have been straightened, there is a risk that the nozzle will detach from the heatbreak and can lead to a failure during printing.

i did not want to reuse the old nozzle - i just wondered where all the energy is
gone and what it might have damaged so that i can replace this parts also, or at least order the most likely replacement parts if it happens again
