This seems like it’s too good to be true. I know extended warranties on things like TV’s are just printing money for Best Buy as the underlying policy cost is like 1/3rd of what they sell it for, but a 3D printer?
Bambu covers the first year, when manufacturing defects are most likely to appear. I’m sure consumables are excluded.
It’s a gamble, and BestBuy is the house. They would not make the offer unless they expected it to increase their profits.
It seems very unlikely that Best Buy underwrites these policies.
There’s plenty of writing on extended warranties as a whole; this situation is no different. It’s a cash grab.
Whats included ? parts and labour / parts ? for what appears to be a lifetime (printer model) guarantee , (based on current rotation)

Seems like a typical policy, which is OK. I’d pick it from a standpoint that if something annoying to fix comes up - trash it back and pick up a new unit.
Talking from experience of fixing carbon rods twice on P1S…
Uh, yeah. I got totally burned by Best Buy in 1995 on a computer I bought their warranty on. The computer failed 8 months in and I took it in just like they told me too. “Do you have an appointment? We are backed up for about 3 weeks right now.”
I took it to a small computer shop and the guy literally put together a small computer on his bench to test my junk. It was the motherboard. Disgusted with Best Buy’s BS, I bought the parts, including a case, and built my own computer at home. They were closed the next day so I waited until I could take it back so Art could check my work. He actually complemented me on my work.
He plugged it in and Vavoom! My first built by me computer came to life.
And I have rarely ever bought into the extended warranties on anything since.
My P2S has been running flawlessly for me since it arrived. So much fun I added a second AMS 2 Pro last week. We run prints pretty near every day. The Grandson ran a basketball and it took days to finish. Not a hitch.
I say no to any extended warranties, and especially Best Buy’s.

Strictly speaking, the warranty insurance expires if you even just lubricate your own printer or even just replaces or add any accessory. Actually, not even a firmware update.
It’ll definitely be “interesting” when the Best Buy-authorized service center has to lubricate your printer, I’m sure that costs extra, too.
In addition to any other Coverage and Product-specific exclusions identified above, claims
and Coverage under this Plan will be denied in the following situations:
6.d) Faulty installation, repair, or maintenance by anyone other than a Best Buy-authorized
service provider;
6.e) Damage to or failure of upgrades or add-on accessories that were purchased separately from the Covered Product (e.g., upgraded memory, non-factory installed ice makers, screen shields);
6.q) Preventative maintenance, including firmware updates, on the Covered Product
