Better than Silent Mode for "annoying thumping sound" reduction

tldr: Set all the max accelerations to 6000ish.

I have a P1S in a garage under a bedroom, and I couldn’t run “normally” at night due to the annoying thumping sounds. Running in silent mode was doable, but that obviously prints half as fast.

Then it occured to me that the only sound that was actually bothersome was the lower-pitched thumping from rapid direction changes. If you cut the acceleration in half, those sounds are mitigated exactly as much as Silent Mode. BUT in many cases it has almost no impact on the print time, because it can still go full speed on the straight-aways.

This only addresses the very narrow issue of thumping sounds heard through floors, but I was glad to discover it and thought I’d pass it along.

I have similiar experiences, but the acceleration impact on the print duration depends a lot on the model. For a cube your solution works great, for models with a lot of edges it works worse…
Positive side effect: The print result is better and if you do not change the mode “normal to silent” during the print, you will not see it in the final print later.

My Studio defaults for acceleration are all 20% lower than the Bambu defaults. Significantly quiets the machine down, only has a measurable effect on print time for models with very large, straight sides. Been running this way since shortly after getting my X1C > 1 year ago.
