[image] Gerrit: However, you are pulling this a bit out of context here. The image is about the crafted table, not the kids as potential operators of the R1. Yes, I am fully aware, but this is more about the wrong (misleading or not) message sent out. It’s kinda reminding the same issue with …

Wait, are we saying that the entire image was NOT made by Bambu products. Even the kids!! I am flawed

@Gerrit despite all the marketing, R1 is a laser cutter that belongs to, along with the other set of powered tools (like dremels, table saws, etc.) a workshop. In a somewhat dedicated area. Not apartment lol. When was the last time you saw an ad for an impact driver and happy kids sitting on chair …

Just a quick cost comparison between my Epilog Legend and this for those who say it’s expensive. I paid $60,000USD for my 12"X24" 70 watt CO2 engraver in 2002. Yes, $60K. Granted the machine price was only $30,000 but I got dinged with a high interest lease due to my being a new business with no …

I don’t see a problem in the image with the kids. To me it is clear that it shows what is possible to manufacture with the tool, not who should use it. And I think it works very well. The use cases for a laser cutter are quite abstract at first and I think it is good marketing to make it more tangib…

Well I didn’t say, that nobody will donate them to their children :joy: Or did I? If so, I wanted to say that it will keep the R1 away from a lot of children that might get one at 1/10 the price. I first wanted to write that I’m not really sorry for those children, but actually I’m very sorry for …

[image] Alex_vG: I first wanted to write that I’m not really sorry for those children, but actually I’m very sorry for them being punished with such parents in many respects. I completely agree with that. I used to hate stupid kids, but then I realized, that the issue of stupid kids are stupi…

[image] Sir Fruit: When was the last time you saw an ad for an impact driver and happy kids sitting on chair assembled by it? Or a table saw that cut a piece of wood that got into a dining table assembly. Doesn’t that look weird and a wrong marketing, in a way? USA advertises firearms to fami…

You will have a very hard time trying to stretch that argument for an item that no children can have legally. Even in more frivolous states the person must be over 18 or 21.
