Biqu has a new cooling option for the A1 that looks interesting.
This mounts to the carriage and provides a crossflow cooling fan that is supposed to help enhance cooling and improve overhangs & bridging and help to reduce stringing. Haven’t found many reviews of this and would like to know if anyone has tried it and what benefits have they seen. It also adds LED lighting which would be beneficial. If anyone has anything to share, please do.
Honestly with A1 being open printer that seems like a bit of overkill… Also the position of the LEDs on the bar makes for backlighting that IMHO doesn’t look too good.
(just a note: I haven’t used that, just sharing option on the general idea)
I’ve got one. It gives a real breeze. Haven’t compared it to anything yet, but I feel that overhangs look better.

Will do. I’ll start one in 90min. And Post the result an hour or two later. If I don’t fall asleep first.
The results were ■■■■, just 45degrees, I’m guessing I’ve messed up some settings… Have done 60 degrees before. Will do some research and redo the test tomorrow. Need some Zzzzz’s.
