Is the kiss-cut function — meaning a cut that doesn’t go all the way through — planned?
I currently use a Cricut Maker 3, and while the H2D is already a very capable machine, this feature could make it a full replacement for one of my current devices.
Ideally, it could also support a tool for scoring folds or even for applying decals.
These simple additions could really elevate the machine’s overall versatility and functionality.

Judging from this video, you can already do it.
Or are you asking for some magic setting button?

No, it’s not magic — all applications have it, an example of cricut design space.
I don’t understand if you’re saying that in a sarcastic way …
In the case of this application, we can specify how many times and with what pressure we want the blade to pass over a certain area. If it goes over many times, it cuts; if just a few times, it performs a kiss cut.
I wasn’t being sarcastic… but I’m guessing the fact that mpoxDE was able to do kiss cutting and that there is a gF force, pass count, and even cut through pressure setting confused me as to what you’re asking for.
From my understanding, that force applies to all lines of the work being done. I know I can create other setups and continue the work with different pressures, but that is not optimal.
Force in the prep mode, appears to work per shape regardless of whether it’s batched. That is, while the initial value is from the material definition and shown as (reference), you can override it like how Studio works, and it shows up as orange for that specific shape.
Also, like Cricut without the subscription’s magic button, you can create custom materials that have the force, passes, etc etc preset to make life easier.
Yes, that works — I’ve already tested it.
But that’s not exactly what I’m trying to say. I’m referring to a button, next to the ‘cut’ option, that could be called ‘kisscut’. It would allow us to configure lower pressure or fewer passes — let’s call it a macro, then.
