Hi
im getting this blistering type effect on the surface of my print, the surface is at an angle so is formed over consecutive layers - and ive no idea what might be causing it. 0.4mm nozzle. extra fine settings, PLA
would anybody be able to help me diagnose? I thought I could hide it with fussy skin but then noticed it will take 3x the length to print!

What brand filament are you using and does it have a preset or are you using a generic preset?
it may be over-extruding
The walls are looking a little rough too, but its kinda hard to tell from the pictures.
Hi, it’s tinmorry filament. Matte.
I’m using the ultra fine preset in bambu studio. I think I’ll try printing outer/inner next time and seeing if that helps. But I’m not an expert so would just be guessing.
Run a calibration from the far right tab from the home button in BBstudio.
I would run a manual calibration if I was you, so you can physically see what your calibrating for. It will teach you a lot. You need to run an auto calibration for every filament you use, and yea, you will hear the nozzle scraping on manual calibration lol.
Generally if they have a profile for the filament, it should be half way decent at least, but clibrating is much better.
