Had to block the blower in the X1 Carbon to complete this print successfully.

Why did you block the fan instead of just setting it to 0% ?

But yeah, setting the aux fan to 0% would have been the better/easier solution 
Yeah that would have been easier. I didn’t realize that was an aux part cooling fan and could be controlled. Thanks for the input.
How did you shut the Aux fan off? Just in the physical controls on the printer? When I do that, it seems to come back on during the next print.
In the cooling tab of the filament profile.
