Hello together,
Yesterday evening I wanted to boost a model via app. However, I was not able to find the boost button. I checked also a very famous model with hunderds of boosts and could not find the button. Only models with a description, where the designers inserted the boost button manually, can be boosted via app.
Is this an error or wanted behavior?
Must be an error because I’ve just checked and I can’t find the boost button via app on my phone. However, when my husband checked his app, the button is there. The only difference is that my app has been updated and his hasn’t. Maybe something broke after the update…?

Click “Me” in the lower right then you’ll see the Ratings button.
It’s not about the rating, it is the missing boost button. See attached screenshot or check in the app - my friends confirmed me, that boosting via app is not possible at the moment. @SupportAssistant can you please check this?
yes, but…
In handy the nice “boost to support me [boost]” thingie was present for all models, visible underneath tags, so outside of the “normal” flow while still within text and still with action prompt.
On the makerworld, there’s a “boost” button that’s highlighted, right under “download” button.
After this change, the action prompt is gone from Handy (users need to click non-highlighted rocket icon) and as mentioned in order to highlight the boost, the creator needs to place “boost me” in the description. Problem is - if this is placed in the footer, it might not be shown without user clicking on “show more”. This will result in less boosts to creators from Handy users.

Not so much the footer, but if it isn’t placed pretty much right at the top… if it is placed more than 3-4 lines down it won’t be visible above the collapsed part. Whether this will actually result in less boosts I don’t know, as the like, collect and boost icons are always visible next to the print button while navigating. I would assume quite possible though, at least for beginning users, unless the onboarding experience has changed. But then again, you do get automatically prompted to comment/rate prints and to use boost points, so maybe not.
