Bridging and Overhang Quality Issues

I am trying to print wings for my RC cars and I am having issues with the quality of my overhangs and bridging with my new P1S. I have tried two print orientations, the black is in PLA AERO which I will be using in the final model, and the white was a test print in a new orientation. In the pictures I have one picture showing the print orientation, and one showing the issues I am having and I would love if someone could help me out. I have tried a lot of different settings, but probably not the right ones. Thank you.

Hi,

I suppose that you want to have “smooth” surface at the top of the wing. That’s why I would print in “normal” orientation, like the white one, and enable support. Then if you want smoother surface go with lower layer height. And at the end you can try ironing.

Such overhangs are generally difficult to print, especially with thin walls. You need to play with angle, wall thickness and supports.

What else could be helpful is the “adaptive layer height”.
