Hi all,
I was wondering if there is a way to make Orca or Bambu studio create better bridges for L or U shaped overhangs (see opening in the middle).
To me it seems odd, that it creates an l-shaped path across a void. It would be great if the slicer could built sets of crossing lines. Or do I have to wait for the new arc overhangs?
Look under strength/Advanced/Bridge direction. You can set the angle to 90.
Also, because BL has removed all the documentation links that were on the settings origininally in Prusa Slicer, you can always look in the Prusa Slicer doc. I keep it open in a tab all the time.
Some other info.

Wow, thanks so much. I am going to dive into this.
This is definitely the setting to look for. Personally I like 45 degrees so that the bridging is a little more even all the way around if it is a small channel but could depend on the file you are printing.
