So BS and my A1 have been working fine, then this AM, go to open BS and notice AMS is not detected… Diving in, I find BS no longer sees my A1. Nothing changed since I last printed. So I follow steps to logout and re-add the A1 and it keeps failing with the below error. Checking the BL system status page and everything shows green. It keeps failing even after I retry. Also tried connecting via LAN mode, and also get an error (2nd img) Anyone else ever experience this?
Ah… and now it has re-connected. Not sure why but BL cloud stats said all services online, my wireless network was fine… Dunno… but heck, it’s working again… for now!
Same here with my P1S. Everytime I turn off the printer the connection seems to fail with error-code -
1030 Failed to publish login request
publish login request failed.
Have to logout of account and then re login every time. This also means that the access-code change.
rebinding with the cloud services , suggests flushing of inactive accounts requiring you to logout / in , ( a bit like locking the door on your way out )
What do you mean by inactive accounts? I’ve been active, and nor should this have to happen. I would only expect this if there’s a cloud outage, which none was reported. I’m in LAN mode now and it’s working, so will see what happens.
Turned of but logged on , not actively using the printer or cloud services , it could be causing other types of login issues (duplicate , alts ) so it has to flush one to accept another (rebinding ), not to be confused with two logons for seperate machines , running simultaneously
Sorry, don’t understand what you are suggesting. I have 1 account, 1 machine, and everything was working fine yesterday. I suspect it was a glitch in the cloud that wasn’t reported. Anyway, I got it working in LAN mode, so I’m good now. Thx.
Understood it enough to come up with a alternative conclusion ?
fortunatley i dont need your validation
Wow… anger much? I simply didn’t understand what you were trying to suggest and just stated I figured it out. Nothing more. Maybe you should do a self check and not post if you can’t follow along.
The only emotions are coming through you . its what reading is about .
Ok… so for all those who don’t have a chip on their shoulders , here’s an update in case you run into this on your A1 at some point…
As noted earlier, got it working in LAN mode, but after a power cycle it failed again. Again, it was not able to connect in either LAN mode or cloud. After finding a reddit tip from X1 owners, I connected the A1 to my phone’s personal hotspot which allowed me to re-bind the account via Bambu Handy in cloud mode. I used the device view (not the QR code). Also, I noticed that on the A1 screen, the QR code was stuck showing “refreshing” text over top of the QR, so my phone could not see the QR! Grrr… Anyway, got it bound and BS also showed it connected. However, I am not sure it’s fixed yet as only another power cycle will tell. After connecting via my phone, I switched the A1 back to my WiFi network.
When it was failing, I did some ping tests and noticed instability (packet loss). I’m not sure if this was a prior condition but nothing has changed on my network etc, so I’m at a loss for why the A1 would suddenly have challenges connecting to WiFi, but at least I have something to check again. I noticed that now that it’s connected, I’m getting good results on pings (see below), but again, no explanation for why it was flaking out earlier. I didn’t even reboot the router but will do that next time if it occurs.
Oh and here’s a nugget for those of you who dabble in the microcontroller world like myself - my router entry registers the A1 as “espressif”, so there’s likely an ESP32 in there.
Similar issue with me yesterday Feb 16, 2024. Im printing daily for 8 weeks via cloud without issue. Finished on Feb 16 a print and then next one says “connecting to server”. After rebooting everything, checking all connections, logins still “connecting”… Went to LAN and don’t need cloud on X1 I guess. And as you say the BL webpage says no outage…
There was a software update to Bambu Studio about 4 days ago. It was specifically for the wifi connection. Did you install that? Perhaps that update is causing the issue
Happy Printing

My A1 is subject of a recall so hasnt been being used as per recall request
no issues with using the A1 Mini after that update though
Did you update the firmware? You can do that if you don’t turn on the heatbed. The firmware update might clear up the connection issue. Also since I don’t know your setup do you have a firewall that could be blocking the connection to the printer? I don’t use the printer hooded to the cloud and I use LAN only so I haven’t seen this issue.
Hope this helps
M
Yes using my phones hotspot to log back into my bambu account worked, and was able to use the QR code on the A1’s screen to make thing happen, happy camper now.
