When installing and setting up BambuSlicer, if the P1P is selected as the only printer to install, the only available profile is the P1P 0.2mm Standard profile, no other layer heights/profiles are included.
If you add the X1 as a printer, it adds back all the missing profiles, as X1C profiles, and removes the default P1P profile. The issue with using the X1C profiles is that all prints start with the flow-control patterns being printed, which wastes time and filament for the P1P. There may be other differences that could cause issues (speed/jerk, etc) that I’m not aware of.
If you change the nozzle size on the P1P it also changes the Profile, but each one only has 1 profile, while the X1 0.4 offers 7 Profiles, surely just a mistake with the compatibility mapping of profiles as I can’t see the P1P hardware difference limiting it to just 1 layer hieight?

Yes, that’s the issue. I’ve heard through discord that they should be coming soon. I also tried adding the P1P to the list if compatible machines in the x1c JSON profiles, but that didn’t work, so hopefully an official solution soon.
