When renaming objects in your 3MF file before uploading to Makerworld, which I often do for better readability, it’s important to keep the ‘.stl’ suffix in the object name. Makerworld extracts and saves objects exactly as they are named in the 3MF file. If users choose the “Download STL/CAD files” button instead of the “Open in Bambu Studio” or “Download 3MF” options, they will end up with a zip file of containing files without the correct file extensions and this can lead to confusion.
While it seems like a simple feature for Makerworld’s auto-filename generator to handle, it currently doesn’t address this issue.
In Bambu Studio, I named my objects like this:

A user used ‘Download STL/CAD Files’:

And ended up with this:
I honestly have no idea why 3 out of the 5 worked for them.
maybe the “space” character broke MW’s file namer?
Update: this probably belongs on a bug report thread. Looks like there is a ‘handy app bug report’ thread and a ‘bambu studio bug report’ thread on here. Anyone have the link to the ‘Makerworld bug report’ thread?
Update 2: I added ‘bug-report’ tag to this post. That should be sufficient. Let me know if there is anything else I should do.
Update 3: model link that contains the issue AMS Lite Rotating Stand for A1 by JJTechPrints - MakerWorld
A couple of people reported the same problem with one of my models (that’s been uploaded months ago). They said that they couldn’t download the stl of some pieces of one of my models. So now, thanks to this thread I probably understood why. I always change the name of the parts of my models and almost never leave “.stl” in the name, but noone ever had problems before the latest update. @MakerWorld
