@MakerWorld - I found a bug in your MakerWorld system:
A model that was marked from me as NSFW from the start, and I’m 100% sure of that because I photographed it to be on the safe side, was reported as NSFW, what? Of course, I can’t post any links nor photos right now to keep ist SFW, but at least I can share part of the report:
Of course, I won’t file an appeal. Why should I? It’s true that it’s NFSW, as it was marked from the beginning. The model remains available online. But could there be a bug/loophole here when an NSFW model is and CAN reported that has the NSFW flag in the frist place? Your system must recognize that.
How can an NSFW model that has the NSFW-flag be reported as NSFW? And no, as I said, I definitely did not forget to set the NSFW flag!
Here is further proof that this model, as well as others, have always been marked as NSFW, without images, of course:
It’s not a major issue for me at the moment, but someone is probably laughing their socks off at the fact that the system can be exploited like this. That there is the option to report NSFW content that has clearly been flagged as NSFW.
…or was there a bug on Makerworld that made NSFW models visible to everyone? Please look into this issue. Thank you.
Edit: Just tested it myself: Your system allows NFFW models to be reported as NSFW via the report function. What?
Thanks for pointing that out, but I won’t be filing an appeal because all that happened was that a model that was already marked as NSFW was marked as NSFW again!
It’s still visible, no points lost, so I’ll just wait and see if support reads this. Appeals are usually automated anyway, and unfortunately they rarely read them.
Except for a very limited few (where “few” translates into “one”) on a non-recurring and on a non-responsive basis (meaning, he might see it, he might read it, but he won’t be bothered to respond or take it a step further to solve it) I wouldn’t have any kind of hopes for a solution to your problem on this forum. It’s mostly us, the users community that, in a form or another, are trying to assist (where possible) those fellow users asking for help.
I agree with you. Believe me, I’ve been in the game long enough to know that. The difference is that when you file a appeal, 99 per cent of the time you get a response from the AI. Even with a support ticket - which wouldn’t be appropriate in this case anyway - you have to exchange several messages before a real person looks at it and bypasses the AI.
On the forum, on the other hand, I have often received help from real support staff, but it takes a long time. At least there’s a chance that a real person will see it, though. When I had a similar issue before, I posted about it in the forum because there were problems with the points, and it was resolved.
Edit: And by the way, the forum is having problems quoting people again; the quote only appears after editing several times.
