No sure if it is a bug or missing feature:
I print multimaterial parts with two filaments that need completely different speed settings. In the filament setting, I can only set the max volumetric speed. I’m looking for a way to define everything from outer wall speed to sparse infill speed for each filament. How would I do that?
The easy way is to make it relate to an object or part. Sounds like that is what you have since you can set different filaments, so you have different objects.
Use the objects menu (tab) instead of the global:
Here you can set the process parameters for the selected part versus being in the global menu and setting the process parameters globally.
Thanks, I’m aware of this but this is really tedious: I would have to manually change the speed settings for every single part/object since there are no presets. Is this really the only way to do it?
There should be a way to choose a preset in the objects tab just like there is in the global tab or even better, you should be able to set the speeds in the filament properties/settings. Unless I’m missing something… the way it currently is seams to be really cumbersome. I can’t be the only one having this issue…
Then turn this into a feature request detailing exactly what you want and where.
I may be mistaken but I think the best it gets is selecting multiple objects to change all of their settings in unison.
