Build plate adhesion

I have had the printer since September
I has bee printing flawless
After a firmware update all of a sudden i started to get first layer adhesion issues
Ran the calibration but no luck
It appeared that the nozzle was not close enough
Searched in wiki for bed level tramming
Downloaded the gcode file
Followed the instructions
After tramming the printer is back to perfect
I dont know what caused the failure however is someone else is having this issue maybe this will help

I can use a little help please. Everything was great for about a week, now the same pla won’t stick to the cool plate. I washed it, I alcohol cleaned it and put fresh glue. Its pulls away and strings, at one point it didn’t hit the bed it bubbled up on the nozzle. I do notice filament ozzing out the nozzle when calibrating. Leaving blobs when it begins to print. I don’t recall it doing an update but it does look like the nozzle isn’t close enough to the bed. It’s really bad when I try petg, it leaves blobs everywhere.

you started in the right direction…however what are you bed temperature settings for cool plate…you might want to make it a bit hotter
Also if you are printing with PETG this material is horrible for blobbing and sticking to the nozzle. Try increasing your retract distance. and also adjust your flow ratio in the filament settings. If it is at 0.95 change it to 0,94 .
Also you may want to check the manual tram of your build plate
If it is out of wack then you will have problems with the material sticking to the plate
you can find instruction here (Manual Bed Leveling / Manual Bed Tramming | Bambu Lab Wiki)

Thanks,
I have been using stock settings for Generic PLA.
I just finished the tramming and doing another calibration.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.
