Build Plate Leaving Shinny Stuff on Bottom of Prints

Hi guys, so I just got my p1s about 2 weeks ago and have noticed that parts of the bottom of prints have these shinny grey splotches as shown in the picture.

This has happened when removing prints from the plate when hot and completely cool. I have never printed on a pei plate before so I don’t know if this is normal or not.
If it is not normal how do I prevent it or is the plate bad and peeling up?

Are you putting glue or anything on your build plate?
Have you tried cleaning it with Isopropanol?

I haven’t used any glue, I will try cleaning with ipa.

I’ve had success using a brass brush to remove that splotchiness. Might give that a try.

If IPA doesn’t work and it’s not some kind of staining, my guess is cos you’re using black/dark filament and when you peel the print off the bed some parts are stuck down better than others and it causes a discoloration. Best to wait for it to really cool down to the point it can slide off the bed on it’s own without bending the plate.
