Welcome to the forum.
Which error code are you getting? When in the printing process does it error?
Have you tried a factory reset and calibration?
Double check that you put the plate on correctly. Unfortunately, Bambu’s alignment guides are garbage. I’ve had a few errors because the plate was off by a little bit and fouling up against the rear wall. Doesn’t take much, maybe 5 mms skewed, and it will bump the wall and trigger the load cell/sensor.
Thanks!..its been off since last night.soi dont have the code # but it the build plate error code (buldgeing plate or dirty nozzle) it throws code during after print file has been downloaded and is about half way thru the pre print start up process(auto leveling?) …sorry still a bit new to this but have basic knowledge…
thanks! Ive had that happen a few times and would get a differnt error…Ive tried lining it up a few times and it seems to be good as usaual.
A plate guide like the Shifty can be very helpful to quickly align the plate.
The designer does not recommend mirroring the guide, for fear of interfering with the right rear purge line, but I did it anyway to make another guide for the right side. It has caused no problems, and my plate placement is ~95% perfect on the first try. Studio has also stopped adding that purge line in the rear.
thanks, I’ll try that if i can ever get it to print again
calibration didnt work…started factory reset =/ …if that dont work im tearing it down tonight.
I’m beginning to wonder if something took a hit besides the glass…
Thanks everyone
After breaking the printer down twice
I found glass almost embedded underneath on side by axes
Cleaning this out solved your issue?
yes, a bit of extensive cleaning. I found glass stuck under the side where the plate goes up.
