Hi, so i been a large riser in asa and the prints came out phenomenal except for this one thing that happens im not sure why. The parts come out perfectly flat but the side that’s on the bed, there are these strange bulges appearing always on the edges and im not sure what or why theyre there.The riser otherwise came out great. It doesn’t seem to affect the parts much. Does anyone know how to fix or correct those bulges or what they are ? I also wait before I remove the prints from the printer basically until if I put any pressure on the print it moves freely on bed. Absolutely no effort removing them at all.

It has the appearance that it’s in the design. I could be wrong, but if you have recalibrated the filament, that is where I would look. The parts appear to fit perfectly. Does it keep the part from being useful? If not, carry on, only you would know.
Looks like the infill design poking thru the top, Add 1-2 more top layers IMO
Unless thats the bottom, in which case wait for the part to cool down before getting off the plate

Hmmm… They could be due to high build plate temperature, so make sure that your filament preset is set to the one that polymaker is accustomed to.

Looks like shrinkage around the edges. Weird that its not wider/more even, but maybe affected by wall thickness/infill. I’ve had pretty consistent shrinkage with ASA, Id be surprised if you have none at all.
Just surmising.

It’s the bottom of the print and i wait till the print comes off the plate without any effort… don’t understand why it does that
How many bottoms does your process currently use? You can get that sort of infill effect only printing with 1-2 bottom layers, if so, usually more is recommended
Can you show me the setting you’re referring to?
Those bulges are most likely elephant’s foot caused by too much heat and first layer squish on the bottom layers. Try lowering the bed to 90 to 95°C and slightly increasing your Z offset by about 0.02 to 0.05 mm.
