I am a beginner and I am buying a printer for my business. Because I want to maximize the invoice of the printer, I am interested in what additional accessories and tools you suggest buy with the printer, such as needles(included 0.4mm with fan or without?), plates, etc…but so that I don’t have unnecessary things twice. Thanks for info
Not sure what you are meaning with this. I’m guessing an extra hotend possibly? If so, get a complete unit with the fan attached. Makes switching much easier and faster.
As for extra plates, I would strongly recommend the Wham Bam PEX plate (258 x 258 Flexi Plate with Pre-Installed PEX Build Surface (Bambu Lab) – Wham Bam Systems). Get a couple of them so you can swap them out between prints. You won’t need to mess with the glue stick when using this plate.
yes, i mean extra hotend! So the best is I buy all with fans, do i need to buy also 0.4mm stainless steel, bcos included is only hardened steel?
thanks for info about that Wham plate, but for now i’m looking only stuff here, bcos needed to be on same bill.
I understand about getting on the same bill.
You want to get the hardened steel units. You can print abrasive filaments with them and even if you are only doing PLA (white PLA is actually abrasive), it will last longer. Not much of a price difference.
Since you will be using the included plate, you will want to get some extra glue sticks. I know you want to keep it on the same PO, but you can get the glue sticks cheaper locally or through Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003O3EV8M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1). $2.65/stick is a lot better than BL’s $4/stick.
And get a couple extra plates from BL while you are at it.
I will buy at least one extra plate also, Bambu High Temperature Plate or Bambu Dual-Sided Textured PEI Plate? And thanks for info about the glue, it will be very usefull in the future!
I would choose the textured Plate. I am printing only on this plate and didn’t used glue once.
Bambu Cool Plate u get with printer right? so is good to have 2 of textured Plate?
yes the cool plate comes with the printer. the x1 carbon also comes with two replacement stickers for cool plate.
And about textured or cool plate I’d say that this depends on what kind of finish you prefere on the bottom of your prints. And of course on the materials you’d like to use,

I have both twice.
Have a great weekend!
Unless you’re using PETG, in which case they recommend using glue stick as a release agent.
(Note: this is in response to the Wham Bam PEX plate.)
I have had no problems with PETG without a glue stick. Just wait for the plate to cool and it pops right off with no damage. By having two plates, you can start the next print while waiting for the first one to finish.
MicroSd card extender for easy handling
Filament desiccant drier.
I use a large plastic container with a pound or so of desiccant.
Keep filament spools in it when not in use.
And I’ve just bought into using the Textured PEI plate, too What settings does one need for the PEX plate? The same as PEI or something else?
There is a sheet that comes with the WhamBam PEX plate with suggested settings. For PETG they suggest the hotend at 240-250 and a bed at 50.
