Would you recommend to buy the X1C or to wait for another new printer… which is smaller than the H2D or to get the X1C?
(H2D is to big for me)

X1c is a great printer. So if the H2D is to big for you I would suggest the X1c.
I would prefer a x1 size printer… but with the dual nozzle from the H2D… is it realistic to get something like that soon?
Unfortunately your guess would be as good as mine. I wish they would, but I doubt it thou
I guess they will I am optimistic… the question is, will they announce it soon?!
i wouldn’t bet on the “soon” part. Eventually (and possibly), Bambu might decide to come up with other versions of the H2D, like they did with the P1 and A1 series, after the launch of the X1 model. However, whether this will really happen…and when it will happen, that’s really difficult to predict at this time. Personally, if you find the H2D to big, I’d go for the X1C combo… eventually you may also consider the K2 +, the Qidi 4, the Centauri , Core One and, well, some other brands… I’d write down what I want against what I really need from a 3d printer, then do some “window shopping” by browsing and comparing what the existing manufacturers are offering as 3d printers (tech specs, slicer, ease of use, maintenance requirements, print quality & reliability, prices…and customer support), then compare notes against your needs (and budget)… Whichever of them checks most or all of your needs checkboxes, that’s the one you’re looking for. My two (euro)cents.
Bambu will eventually upgrade the X1 with H2D style quick swap hot ends and chamber heater, anyones guess when it will happen. Probably not anytime soon as they are busy with the H2D.
Personally I don’t think it will happen. At this point in time, based on their statements in The Verge, it’s clear to me that Bambu has already decided to move away from the 1st gen printers (X1, P1 and A1 series) to the more advanced (as some claim) 2nd gen printers (the H2D) that have the “security+authentication patch” firmware pre-installed. All one can hope is that Bambu keeps stoking up in their online store the spares for the 1st gen and the updates/support as stated on their website, until the pre-determined end-of-life cycle for X1 and P1 series…and what happens after that, well, your guess is as good (and valid) as anyone else’s. Except from switching from the 1st gen AMS to the 2nd gen (which would require updating your firmware to the latest version- the one that has created so much controversy and negative reactions from many users -) I don’t see Bambu wanting and spending time & resources to offer upgrade kits for the 1st gen printers.
I did not mean upgrade kits. I meant they will have a new model to replace the X1 with those features.
I think the H2D is the replacement for the X1C… Not sure if they’ll consider launching H2D variations equivalent to P1 like they did with the X1… but I guess that time will tell.
I dont think so as not everyone has the space for H2D. They will for sure have a smaller printer to replace the X1 with quick swap hot ends and chamber heater, they need something is each size category. Not sure if they will still have a P1s now that they have A1 to cover the budget category, they might just push down the price on X1 via plastic panels instead of aluminum and other cost cutting measures as there is plenty of competition on the market and a black and white screen wont fly anymore.
I would buy the P1S unless you have a very specific reason to get an X1C. The X1C has more features than the P1S, but few actual additional benefits.
An X2C with two heads and lower noise would be worth a substantial premium over the P1S

Thats exactly what I hope to see soon!!
yes good point!!! I would get the X2
I also have X1C and I have the opportunity to get on H2D but reading the use of the 2 hot end it’s seem that it does not worth the upgrade take a look what I mean:
AMS is occupies only 1 hotend
Everything is for the right hotend and only TPU or second colour out of the AMS could be on the moving hotend
All of this sounds restrictive … it’s improved but not in efficient way.
