Camera cable broken

Hello,

while putting the enclosure for P1P i accidentally scratched the camera cable. I have issued an ticket, but i was wondering if maybe it is possible to replace it with some cable found online, but i dont really know how to even start to look for it. Anyone would have any idea?

i would have to remove the enclosure, but the cable is half ripped, so i guess the replacement is an only option.

Ouch - ribbon cable. I just looked up the camera on the BL store. I would just buy another camera now. $30us and pay your (what I call it myself) stupid fee and be done with it. Ribbon cable makes it hard to find a replacement. They are out there, but it is going to be hard to find something that fits

Did a standard 24 pin ribbon cable work? I tried to replace my broken cable with the one linked above and the camera still does not work. Bambu Lab is ignoring my support tickets.

As for finding a replacement cable, it might be possible to source one online if you know the specifications of the cable you need.
an option would be to search for camera cables on electronics suppliers’ websites, like Digi-Key or Mouser. You could try filtering your search by the specifications of the original cable, like the length, connector type, and wire gauge.

Right, that is why I asked if a 1:1 24pin cable worked. It will be next to impossible to source the original cable on the free market since it is obviously a custom cable tailored to fit the case.

Mine did work. I had to find similar one with cheap delivery in europe. I have bought this one, since i didn’t want to wait 30 days for aliexpress to deliver.

Only downside is that i have bought 20cm long, which is to short to place the camera it in the original place. Would recommend at least 30cm, but measure the old one before buying. :))

Thank you. A corresponding cable did not work for me. Bambu Lab only offers me to buy the camera set again unfortunately.

:pray: That saves my ass. I wanted to attach another LED strip to my P1s, and I cut mine in half. And all because Bambu is so overworked with the cabling.

And as a side note, my Z-rods were not lubricated :face_with_raised_eyebrow:, DA FU BAM BU.

Hello! I support, these cables are fully functional to restore the camera if the factory one is damaged. Just carefully and securely insert and secure in place with adhesive tape. Thank you!
