Camera error

I have a Bambu Lab H2C running the latest firmware version. Unfortunately, I randomly receive errors stating that either the nozzle camera or the live-view camera is unavailable.

This usually happens shortly after I have used the app to check on the printer. I do not believe that the cameras themselves are faulty, because the issue occurs randomly and without any obvious pattern.

At first, I suspected the USB flash drive, so I replaced it with a different one. However, after every print, my PC reports a file system error on the USB drive, although the drive is still recognized and accessible.

I format the USB drive, which removes all errors, but after the next print, the file system error returns. I check it in Windows by right-clicking the USB drive and selecting Properties → Tools → Error Checking.

Restarting the printer temporarily fixes the camera issue.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Please also make sure you’re using the correct specifications:

The recommended format is FAT32. However, Windows tends to format drives to other formats, so be careful. If in doubt, have the printer format the USB drive, not Windows: “Format the external storage”.

I’m using a USB flash drive that’s fast enough, and I had the printer format it and also removed it using the eject function.
