Camera should be used to spot a print on the bed?

So this has only happened to me twice in the time I’ve had the X1C and one time it ended in a bent nozzle and the other I got away with it. But don’t you think the built-in camera should be used to detect something on the print bed before it starts a new print? Surely it can’t be that tough a feature to implement, you teach it what an empty bed looks like, then anything that isn’t that would be flagged as a potential obstruction.

Great suggestion. You would think that this could be part of spaghetti detection run before the print commences.
