Ever since the last firmware update (01.06.00.00) the camera on my A1 has stopped working. When I click on the “play” icon in Bambu Studio or Bambu Handy it just sits there and says “Initializing…” but doesn’t do anything. Also if I set my print to do a Timelapse it takes a VERY long time to snap a picture but never seems to.
There has been several problems with the A! firmware update ver 01.06.00.00, so roll it back to 01.05… until further notice when you hear the they have fixed the issues
I thought I was going silly with the camera not connecting in BL Studio. Thank goodness I’m not the only one with this issue.
I find that a shutdown/restart of the printer and BL Studio will bring it back on. However it doesn’t help you if you’re in the middle of a long print and want to make sure it hasn’t turned to spaghetti while you’re out of the hosue.
I have also had issues since the Firmware Update, the app on IOS and Bambu Studio can not control the Camera, Light, or the motors manually. I can only controll this using the touch screen on the A1 Mini.
I’ve also been having the same issue. Brought it up to support and they claimed they never heard of this and don’t believe it’s the firmware. I’ve rolled it back and it works just fine. But with the upcoming October 25 firmware update to add support AMS pro 2 on A1 series I may be making a choice by either adding the AMS pro 2 or removing the camera capability. Which is unfortunate. Does anyone know how to add an aftermarket camera for time lapse video and the purpose of viewing your 3D prints live?
