It started failing printing with stringing.
So I want to dry it with AMS PRO2 before printing.
However I cannot find the way how to do that.
Is there any webpage or youtube that shows how to do it?
If there’s technique how to avoid stringing, please share!!
On the filament screen of your H2D, tap the icon with the humidity percentage.

Make sure to unload the filament so the spools can rotate during the drying cycle.

Thank you very much sir!
If it’s PLA, how much percentage should I set it to?
and do I have to do that seettings everytine before printing???
Actually, you have to unload the filament before it will agree to start drying even without the rotation option selected (or is that just me and my Carbon X1?).
I don’t understand why as that limits its usefulness considerably for someone who isn’t in the same physical location as their printer 24/7.

Just set the timer according to the filament manufacturers instructions. If it’s been dried previously then you can take a best guess on what might be needed to get it back to optimal dryness. It’s a pity that they don’t support drying while printing as I do that with my external dryers but not with the benefits of AMS and I really want the best of both worlds. Besides, I’m convinced that the outer layers of the filament on a roll are dry much more quickly than 8 hours so I really do want to be able to start printing midway through the drying time. Hopefully they can bring this ability online with a firmware update, for those who power the AMS Pro from the power brick.
My H2D let me do it when I didn’t read the screen the first time. Seemed to work just fine though.
