Hi all,
Happy with the printer thus far outside of the remote connection. I have the latest firmware 1.08 and Bambu Studio version 1.9.1.67 (though studio seems to think there is another firmware available).
I can connect to the printer without issue. I can see the live feed from the camera without issue. My roadblock is sending jobs to the printer. I get the following error
I no issues pinging the IP address so I am at a loss for how to move forward. I have tried adding private and public networking privalages to the Bambu app and disabling the windows firewall entirely but I get the same behavior.
Any ideas?
Sorry to highjack this thread but I am not allowed to create my own post.
Frustrated by Bambu Studio Lan only mode. I just bought the printer last week.
I am using the wireless connection. I have no problem connecting to the printer from Bambu studio but I cannot upload any files to print. I have the latest version of Studio and printer is on 1.08, though Studio seems to think there is another firmware version out there but clicking the update button causes a failure.
Not sure what to do I have tried turning off my firewall on my laptop.
Any ideas?
Welcome to the forum.
The first thing I would suggest is reading through the Wiki article for setting up LAN mode. Follow those steps.
If you can see the printer, how are you “sending” files to it?
Do you have an SD card in the printer? Are you using the “Print” or “Send” button in Bambu Studio?
I do have a 16gb microSD card in the machine. I have been using the print plate button option.
If I switch to Send I get the following. On the machine itself it shows the SD card as empty. So could it be an SD card issue even though the error message refers to network issues?
Try formatting the card via the printer display.

I could not figure out how to format using the printer, but the SD card I was using was probably bad since I could not format the card on my laptop.
I got a 32gb SD card did a fresh format in the FAT32, using that card in the machine did the trick. end worked.
I would recommend changing the error code on that since it heavily implies it is a network issue, which through me off track.

For future reference.
On a P Series printer, you can format the SD card by going to Setting/SD Card/Format
